Booking and Cancellation Terms

Booking and Payment
Bookings are made exclusively online, by credit card or via Google Pay. A deposit of 30% of the total cost is charged at the time of booking, and the remaining balance is due one month before the arrival date. A security deposit of $500 will be held on the credit card two days before arrival and will remain on hold for 7 days. This amount is not charged but simply held on the card and will be automatically released after confirming that no damage has occurred in the chalet.

Check-in and Check-out Times
Check-in is from 4:00 PM, and check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM. For an early check-in or late check-out, please contact us in advance. Additional fees may apply.

General Rules

  • Non-smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the chalet or on the veranda. Cleaning fees will be charged if any signs of smoke or cigarette traces are detected.
  • Pets: Pets are not allowed unless pre-authorized by the owners, and this is not guaranteed.
  • Respect for Neighbors: No events or parties are allowed. We prioritize tranquility and respect for the neighborhood. Any complaint regarding excessive noise may be considered a serious breach and may result in cancellation of the stay without refund of the security deposit.
  • Outdoor Fires: Outdoor fires are prohibited without a prior permit from the town. Firewood is not provided.

Use of the Spa
Use of the spa is permitted at your own risk. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. We disclaim all liability in the event of an incident related to the use of the spa or other facilities.

Departure and Housekeeping
Before departure, please:

  1. Remove the sheets from used beds and leave them on the beds.
  2. Wash a load of towels and leave them in the dryer.
  3. Empty all indoor trash bins and place garbage in the black bins near the shed.
  4. Ensure all doors and windows are closed and locked, and turn off the lights.

Cellular Network
Due to the chalet’s proximity to the U.S. border, your devices may connect to U.S. towers. To avoid additional charges, please turn off cellular data before arrival. Enable the “WiFi Calling” function on your phone to stay reachable via the chalet’s WiFi network.

Cancellation Policy

  • High Season (June 15 – October 15, December 20 – March 30, and public holidays): Full refund if cancellation or modification is made more than 30 days before the arrival date. For cancellations or modifications made within 30 days of the arrival date, the 30% deposit is non-refundable, but the remaining 70% will be refunded.
  • Low Season: Full refund if cancellation or modification is made more than 21 days before the arrival date. For cancellations or modifications made within 21 days of arrival, the 30% deposit is non-refundable, but the remaining 70% will be refunded.
  • Modifications: The same conditions as cancellations apply for date modification requests.

Guest Responsibilities
Guests are responsible for any damage to the chalet and adherence to the house rules. The security deposit may be retained, in part or in full, in case of damage or violation of rules.

Owner’s Responsibilities
The owner commits to:

  1. Maintaining basic insurance for the entire rental period.
  2. Providing the chalet in good, clean, and functional condition.
  3. Informing the guest if, for any reason, the chalet cannot be rented for the agreed dates, with a full refund of the booking deposit if necessary.

Liability Waiver
The owner cannot be held responsible for accidents, injuries, or losses incurred by guests during their stay. Use of the facilities and amenities is at guests’ own risk.
